Default Is Dunkin Donuts coffee as great as they claim?

Miss Rhonda: I'm in Michigan and a commercial just aired claiming you can now purchase the coffee in your local grocery stores...

Personally I don't care for it. When I order it from the actual store, to me it smells and tastes an awful lot like the metallic taste you get from canned green beans. I just can never get that out of my head so I can't stand to drink it.
I prefer gourmet coffees from Seattle's Best or Millstone.. I just put it into a travel mug and take it to work. Today I had Caramel Truffle.. Yum!
Also down here in Key West we have all the local Cuban delis that serve con leche, which is the best...

Here in Florida, they actually sell Dunkin Donuts coffee in the grocery stores, and according to their sales in Florida, it sells better than leading brands such as folgers or maxwell house!!! It is great coffee.....

its pretty good. there just isn't as much variety as starbucks or carribou coffee. but it is good for the price.

OMG YES!

Especially when it comes to their price compared to Starbucks, Caribou, etc.

Best coffee out there for the price as far as I'm concerned.

It's a bit better and less expensive compared to Starbucks , although Starbucks has more variety of blends.

Not really! But I guess it really depends on what you are used to. DD has a decent coffee, but decent is not great at all. DD is appealing because the price is lower than most specialty shops, but really, does that make the coffee 'better'? Better priced, maybe, but they start with a low grade green bean which unfortunately translates into a low grade brewed beverage.

Just my $.02!!
