I have to have a soda before I can start my day, I'm starting to take better care of myself and eat right and exercise and I know 1-2 sodas a day is not going to help. What are some effective alternantives to soda?
Ice cold water is good for waking up, because your body has to raise it's body temp. in order to compensate for the drop in temp. It is also sapposed to be good for losing weight because your body burns calories warming up. I don't think it burns a significant amount of calories though
honestly...when I don't have caffeine I use nicotine, but thats probably a bad suggestion...just gradually slow down and you'll be fine. You could also switch to something like tea and just drink a single cup in the morning to wake you up. I'm sure one cup of tea would probably have positive health benefits anyway...
