The coffee vending machine at my office refunded 75 cents yesterday; the digital readout flashed "winner." I asked a couple co-workers and they confirmed the machine regularly gave away free coffee. Do you have a vending machine in your office with this 'slot machine' feature?

Nope, we just have 2 coffee pots and receptionists whose job it is to make sure they're never both empty at the same time.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we "win" free donuts. Again, that's the receptionists' job to bring them and then we scrabble to get the good ones before they're all gone.
