what is the deal with coffee beans at perfume counters?? What is their purpose?

Well you know when your at the purfume counters and you smell like 100 diff types of perfume... well by the tenth one they all kind of smell the same. when you smell the coffee beans, it sort of takes the smell away so you get the full smell of the purfume and its not mixed with other perfumes. you should try it! it really works

Ok, there purpose is this: You know when you smell so many perfumes at the same time and all of a sudden they all start to smell the same? You use the coffee beans in between smelling the perfumes. It refreshes your nose and lets you smell the next perfume. I think it has a dull smell so it gives your nose a rest. Good luck!

It refreshes your sense of smell so that you may continue to smell fragrances with out getting them jumbled!

It clears your scent glandes making them like new so you can get a better sense of what the perfume ax\ctually smells like.
