Iv heard this to and its so not true!! i have 4 healthy kids and i drank nothing but coke the whole time i was prego and i drank coffee so I think its just that they dont want you to and they say this but I dont know I just know from personal experance.

sure- this is interesting and women who do consume a lot of caffeine should cut back but I don't think it needs to be cut out completely. 2 cups a day every day - that is a lot! That isn't even co'snting soda/chocolate - other sources of caffeine.

We may not know conclusively all the risks to our babies but we should be as safe as we can without being crazy!

i heard about this listening to Paul Harvey this morning on the radio. i had a healthy 9lb baby boy even though i craved starbucks and coke throughout my entire pregnancy.
