Default Caffine Question?

Does any one know how much caffine is in a Vanilla Chai Latte (hot) as opposed to a cup of regular flavored coffee??
I think a Vanilla Chai would be less caffine, but I want to make sure since I do love coffee but of course, I don't want to have too much caffine intake.
Just making sure it's a healthier option for my baby!

Thanks!

I don't know...Just avoid anything with caffeine in it. I myself love to drink coffee/coke esp. STARBUCKS. I only drank once when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I've been staying away from it for the longest and can't wait til I give birth and then drink it again. I am craving for it so much.

i would say no more then one caffeine drink per day to be safe. I have sworn off caffeine with this pregnancy and my others i didn't drink it either. I'm 39 weeks pregnant now with my 3rd. My doctor told me to avoid caffeine as much as possible because it dries you out causing lots of braxton hicks contractions and that it speeds up the baby's heart rate i have also heard that caffeine is linked to baby's being colic after birth. Neither one of my boys had colic after they where born at anytime so maybe there is some truth to that. hope that helps you. congratulations.

You can usually call the place that you get it from and ask them. Or the next time you go in, just ask them. This way you'll know for sure. I love my tall mocha frapp from starbucks, but it started making me sick. I can't drink ANY coffee now. Soda doesn't bother me though. Like anything, drink coffee if you want it, just dont do it a lot. Moderation is the key.
