There are many things that can cause this reaction, but it sounds like a "B" vitamin deficiency. There are 39 grams of sugar in 6 ounces of COKE. The caffeine found in the garbage will exhaust your adrenal glands, but the phosphoric acid in the garbage depletes your body of calcium. The benzoate of soda used to preserve it when combined with ascorbic acid found in vitamin C tablets or processed foods combine to form BENZENE that is very dangerous to your body.
2 liters of coke will give you about 1 pound of sugar consumed. That amount of sugar will tell your body that it is in a "fight or flight" emergency response. There is no way your body will be able to produce enough insulin to process that, so your adrenal glands will be called into action and they will become exhausted. The excess sugar will be stored as fat in your body.
If you are eating a low fat, high carb diet, plus that amount of coke, you are headed for pre diabetic reactions and this could cause the rash. If you don't change from dumping high amounts of carbs (sugar included), you will become diabetic.
The reason you are tired is because your adrenal glands are exhausted and it takes 24 - 29 hours to recharge them, if you get enough sleep (at least 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep) and stop eating or drinking that high sugar content. Each one of your cells have insulin receptor cells that act like a key to let glucose into the cells through the fatty acid membranes. Too much sugar, like you are taking in, will cause these receptor cells to become tired and not let the glucose in. When this happens, the adrenal glands produce lots of cortisol, but when they become exhausted, the glucose has to be dealt with and that is when it goes to fat cells.
I would say, you just had a wake up call and your body is telling you that you are close to becoming a diabetic type II victim and if you don't change your diet, you will become a statistic like so many other Americans.
Diet sodas are just as bad and most likely are worse because your body thinks the diet sugars are real sugars and you will get the same response, but when no sugar is there to
oxidize, your adrenal glands go through the same issues.
You need to educate yourself on what is good and bad for you or you will suffer the consequences earlier rather than later. I suggest you read the book: "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, pH.D. Believe me, it's no fun being diabetic.
good luck to you
